Is a valuable member of ISCPES. Through his long-standing commitment in boards of several national and international sport sciences and physical education associations and his involvement in publishing various journals (i.a. as associate editor of International Sport Studies, ISS) he is equipped with substantial experience and contacts – nationally and internationally – in the field of sport science and physical education. Over the last years he has been involved in several research projects, i.a. funded by the European Commission (Erasmus+ Sport & KA2) and the German Research Foundation (DFG) – the most prestigious German research funding organisation and the largest such organisation in Europe.
