The 21st Biennial Conference of International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sport (ISCPES) was held in India from 16th-18th December 2021.
Leading scholars & professionals from around the world joined with an interest in comparative and International Physical Education and Sport sciences joined in to a strength of 5000. It was a unique show with distinguished representatives from 5 continents showcased the latest practices, policies and issues shaping the delivery of physical education and sports programs around the world as seen to date. This virtual platform offered the latest insight for both research and practices.
The initial call for abstract and registration started a couple of months back in September 2021 and it was a successful start. On 15th December 2021 we had the pre-conference workshop and today we are at the grand finale of the “State of the Art in Physical Education, Sport and Physical activity in the International
Context”- the theme of this conference. And it also included 17 Sub themes.
The organizers of this great conference were-
(i) International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sport (ISCPES) which is a research and educational organization with a purpose to support, encourage and provide assistance to those seeking to initiate and strengthen research and teaching programs throughout the world.
(ii) The host of the prestigious 21st Biennial International conference 2021 by Sports Authority of India, Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Kerala, India.
In this conference, we had popular lecture on his name by Prof. Dr. Hebert Haag lecture (Germany) and subsequently had 6 keynotes from

2- Dr. Richard Bailey- Ph.D FRSA Malaysia
3- Dr Tiago Barbosa- Singapore
4- Prof. Dr. Karin- West Chester University of Pennsylvania
5- Dr G. Kishore- Principal, SAI LNCPE, TVM, India.
6- Dr. Antala Brainislav (Slovakia)
The pre-conference workshop had 4 concurrent sessions from 9.30 am to 5.30 PM on 15th December 2021. The 21st Biennial conference for comparative
Physical Education and Sport was from 16th to 18th December 2021. We had around 5000 participants and delegates from 25 countries. 72 oral presentations from around the globe were the highlight of this conference. The conference conclude with an award winner honouring session at the valedictory ie The Lynn Vendien Trust Fund award was presented to Ling Qin (China), and the ISCPES Young Scholar Awards to Vikas Singh (India) and Mohammad Amin Safari (Iran).
The conference was inaugurated by Honourable Union Minister for Youth and Sports, Govt.of India Shri. Anurag Singh Thakur, DG of SAI Sh. Sandeep
Pradhan, Prof. Dr.Pedro Carvalho president of ISCPES, Dr. G. Kishore, Principal and Regional Director were at the inaugural ceremomy. Prof. Dr. Ajaya Kumar,
Pro Vice chancellor, university of Kerala was in charge to give the final words, together with Prof. Dr. Carvalho and Prof. Dr. Herbert Haag. The conference was
a grand success and thanks to all for your patience, attendance and co-operation.
