Dr. Sanjay Kumar Prajapati is an Assistant Professor and ISAK Level-3 Anthropometrist at the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, since 2018. Previously, he served as a Physical and Health Education Teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from 2014 to 2018. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Education from Banaras Hindu University in 2015 and qualified the UGC Junior Research Fellowship in 2011 and 2012.

His research focuses on Kinanthropometry, Exercise Physiology, Sports Training, Hockey, Talent Identification, Body Composition, and Research Methodology. He has published 40+ research papers, five books, several book chapters, and edited conference proceedings. His research has appeared in UGC CARE, and international peer-reviewed journals. Since 2021, he has supervised postgraduate dissertations in Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

Dr. Prajapati has served as Organizing Secretary of several international conferences and workshops, including the 22nd Biennial Conference of the International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sport (ISCPES) in 2023, and International Workshops on Kinanthropometry in 2023 and 2025. Since 2024, he has been conducting ISAK accreditation courses as an Instructor.

He has delivered keynote lectures and served as Resource Person, Chairperson, and Subject Expert at national and international programmes organized by NCERT, UGC-HRDC, Sports Authority of India, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Indian Olympic Association, and universities across India from 2020 onwards. He has also contributed to curriculum development under the Sports Authority of India.

Dr. Prajapati was an Associate Editor of ISCPES and, he is a reviewer, and professional member of several national and international journals and organizations, including ISCPES, ISAK, and ASCA. His contributions have been recognized through the Teacher Innovative Award (2019), Research Excellence Award (2020), Global Impact Award (2022), and Young Researcher Award (2023). He continues to contribute significantly to sports science, physical education, and athlete performance research at national and international levels.
